Xenia Township Fire Department K-9 Division
Welcome to the Xenia Township Fire Department K-9 Division.
This web site will introduce you to the members and their K-9 partners.
About the K-9 Division
The division was started in 2004 to assist members of the fire department with the searching of lost persons. All of the training costs and upkeep of the dogs is up to the handlers. No public funds have been given to the division other than by private donations.
Currently the division has one four year old bloodhound and one three year old german shepard both trained in tracking/trailing and certified to the standards of NASAR a national search and rescue organization.
The division also has two more labs in training for cadaver work.
